Iron Man Champion uses indoor cycling dvd for training

This is another addition to Ted’s blog on America’s Best Bike Rides. This is day 8, week 2 of Ted’s mission to lose 25 lbs in 90 days. I think so far, successfully, I’ve lost 5 lbs and I managed to gain 3 lbs back. So that’s a net loss of 2 lbs. I’m feeling pretty good. I’m exercising right now and I’ve been on the stationary bike for about half an hour. My pulse is a lot more consistent and lower than it was last week when I was exercising so I feel like I’m getting a little bit better. I’m in better shape and a little healthier.

I think it was really great that we were able to visit Mike McCormack’s studio in San Francisco two times. He’s using America’s Best Bike Rides videos in his class to offer a little bit more entertainment value for his class as they ride and exercise on their spin bikes. He said that it’s been very good as far as feedback. We’ve gotten very good positive feedback from the people in the class. It’s an added value that he probably never even thought of. He never even knew it was out there. We’re lucky to have found each other and I think he’ll be able to see his YouTube video and he can talk about how it’s been a big positive step in making his class what we think to be the best spinning class in America. I don’t think there’s any other class that offers as much value as Michael’s and that’s something that other spinning class instructors, I hope, will take into account when looking for a similar product. I hope that they’ll think about using our videos. It’s been tested. Michael loves it. You can hear him say it in his own words. Michael’s, like I said, a 2 time Iron Man Champion and with that kind of training knowledge and abilities and years and years of experience in the industry, I think that says a lot for our product.

We want to offer people who exercise at home or trainers that have their studios the ability to basically have value and entertainment added to their workout schedule. I’ve been riding now for a half hour watching the Mt. Tam to Olema video and I’ll tell you, I’m trying to keep up and keep a good pace going the whole time and it’s making me sweat big time. So, I’ve got a lot of respect for people that ride bikes and do stationary bike exercising in their homes, because it just gets your cardio going. I think if you’re able to do this three or four times a week for half an hour 45 minutes or an hour, you’re going to see the benefits. You’re going to feel healthier, You’re going to be able to walk with a little more brisk in your step and your head’s going to be a little more clear. All the above. You’re also going to start losing weight with the right diet program added into your exercise programs. I don’t know how you can’t see the results. Those two things combined, in my belief, will make you think that exercise is the way to go. Like I said, I’d like to see everyone using America’s Best Bike Rides videos when they’re working out in their home on their stationary bikes. So hopefully you’ll take a look at our video products and add them to your library of DVDs and hopefully use them for your entertainment. Thank you America. Day 8, signing off.
