Ted Exercises with America’s Best Bike Rides – Day 43 of 90

Hi. It’s day 43 of Ted’s vlog and I just finished doing my ride. I was exercising to America’s Best Bike Rides – Nicasio Loop and it wore me out. I’m trying to get myself ready. I want to start exercising in Michael’s spin class next week in San Francisco. I want to try to do that at least 2 times a week, hopefully for the rest of the vlog to get myself in shape and try to really kick off the calorie burn off and weight burn off. I’m really hoping that I can lose my 25 lbs and I think Michael’s spin class is really gonna make a big difference in seeing that goal get achieved.

I know spin classes…an hour on a spin bike in a spin class and Michael’s spin classes go a little bit longer than that. Probably and hour and 15 minutes. I just can’t even imagine what it’s going to be like doing that spin class. So, I’m going to warm myself up, have a little introduction to it with Michael before I try doing the full hour. If you’re used to doing spin classes maybe you can remember what it was like the first time when you did it. Aside from sitting on one of Michael’s stationary bikes and just peddling it a few time I haven’t really got a chance to find out what it’s like to do a spin class.

If you’ve seen the pictures that we’ve shot inside of Michael’s spin class, you can see the sweat just pouring off the people in there. I’ve got the sweat on my shirt now and I can only imagine how many calories I’m going to be burningoff riding in a spin class. I think it’s an important thing to be riding with a group. Either with a group of bike riders on the weekend or if you’re in a spin class. You get the energy of everybody that’s riding with you. That energy helps you, keeps you motivated and it helps you exercise even harder. It’s that, “No quit, I’m going to make it until the end of the spin class,” kind of attitude that really gets those people going, especially when it’s raining outside, which It’s supposed to be raining the next couple of days. That chases people inside, they get on their stationary bike or set their bicycles up on the trainers and ride and hopefully they’re using America’s Best Bike Rides while they’re exercising in their homes and keeping themselves interested in something other than a tv show or news that probably gets you down.

You know watching the rides, getting the feeling that I’m outside, riding on these roads, it just makes it easier for me to keep going, to keep pedaling. I want to make it to the end of the ride. So, I just wanted to keep you updated and hopefully next week when I talk to you, I’ll be in Michael’s spin class and we’ll be filming some shots of me riding along at Michael’s m2 Revolution. So, day 43 of Ted’s vlog, saying hi.
