Ted Exercises with Americas Best Bike Rides – Day 22 of 90

Hi America! It’s Day 22 of Ted’s Blog, America’s Best Bike Rides. I’m giving you an update on what I’ve been doing for exercise. Today I was at the gym, I spent an hour doing cardio about 30 minutes on a stationary bike and 20 minutes on a treadmill. Next I went and lifted weights and did sit-ups and that was my afternoon. My diet today was a salad and I had a few waters so I haven’t eaten a lot and I am feeling fine, not too hungry.

I wanted to give you a few stories that I’ve received. As I’ve been doing my blog people have been emailing and giving me their stories of 90 day workout wonders. One of them is from a young man who is 24 or 25 years old. On a bet with his two friends he’s lost 50 pounds in 3 months and he’s done that by starting to run every morning. When he wakes up he runs between one and three miles and he’s changed his diet. In the afternoon he said when he’d go home he used to drink a six pack of beer and eat pizzas and all the other stuff that wasn’t really good for you. Now he’s eliminated all that from his life and he’s eating a lot healthier along with the running the diet and more exercise that he’s doing he’s been able to lose fifty pounds. So he started off weighing about 237 pounds, and over the course of a little over three months he’s lost fifty pounds. So it’s more encouragement for me just knowing that it’’s possible.

I have been emailing and talking with a young lady in Michigan who after looking at herself in pictures, she was 5 ft 8 – 180 pounds and she was able to lose over forty pounds in a little less than three months. She did that by basically creating her own boot camp. She has done a combination of boxing, cardio work and dieting, but not dieting to the extreme. She says that her metabolism now is much higher than it was and she’s able to eat pretty much the same kinds of foods but what she does is she eats smaller portions about four or five times a day. So by doing that she has been able to lose over forty pounds and she’s feeling great and she’s lost many dress sizes. The way she looks at stuff she says it’s how many pants sizes she’s lost and she’s just really happy about her weight loss and she’s enthusiastic and she wants other people to feel like they can do it too! She’s given me the encouragement, telling me that my goal of losing twenty five pounds is totally realistic and that’s given me more power to just keep going on my program. Day 22 of Ted’s blog and I’m going to keep going. Thanks America!
